Solar Professionals are currently delivering the Aboriginal Housing Office Solar Project throughout the Riverina and Central West. To date, we have completed 522 solar installations to Aboriginal Housing Office homes with 208 installations still underway.

The average solar system size is 3kW.

This project is the next stage of the Aboriginal Housing Office Climate Resilient Living Program and will provide a significant social impact for Indigenous communities. The solar installations will assist tenants to increase home comfort and reduce financial stress, improve housing outcomes for Aboriginal families, provide education and support to manage tenants’ energy bills and empower families and communities through long term employment.

We will employ 10 Indigenous workers during the delivery of this project and these workers will benefit from a six-unit training project, up to 14 weeks paid work experience with an experienced team and Tool Kit & Safety Gear for those workers to keep.

This is the third AHO project Solar Professionals has been involved with. We previously installed solar to 804 homes in the Dubbo & Western NSW regions as part of this Program.
